Cat Park Tour

Activity Description

Visitors to our Big Cats Park can enjoy the rare and exciting experience of being able to view these beautiful creatures up close, but still from the safety of our viewing decks and behind the enclosure fences! After all, these are wild animals and we respect them as such.

Our Big Cats Park offers a unique experience not to be found anywhere else along the Stellenbosch wine route, where one can both view and learn more about these majestic creatures that may well one day cease to exist in anything but our history books. It’s a must-visit for any animal lover, and we look forward to grrrrr-eeting you soon!

Customer Reviews

It was interesting to see the animals and the location was nice and beautiful, however my partner and I expected something different from what we got. The website described the tour to be a 45 minute thing whereas we finished in 10 minutes only, and it also implied that this was a game drive whereas it was not that at all. Because of that we ended up being disappointed. Additionally, feeding time would have been a treat to watch but the website made no indication of this and so we booked for much earlier than that time, and missed out. - Saleha Suleman

Most enjoyable outing. Very child friendly. Only negative comment.... Purchased tickets online and no place to enter entertainer codes and site showed slots were full when they were in actual fact not. So had to pay full price and were not reimbursed when we got there. - Sharon van Coller

The Cat Park Tour was awesome. It's always great seeing these majestic Big Cats in the flesh. It's a pity that the leopard was so shy, as I would of liked a closer picture of it. Sad though that Conservation Organisations have to resort to captivity as a protective measure for these creatures. I wish that in a perfect world we do not have to have these great animals in captivity, in a world free from poachers & greedy syndicates. Although they are pretty to view behind the cage, they are meant to be in the bush-veld, hunting for their food & living free, where their purpose & full potential is maximised. - Ivor Momsen

Lovely experience we had, I have and will always recommend the place to family and friends in future - Nelson Gqwetha

Hi, the kids loved it even though it was raining. I would suggest that you have one offering g for the kids at one price. Cats, play park and tractor rides all inclusive. Because paying separately for each item doesn't make economic sense. - Amanda Russell
